A dedicated substation serves as the transfer point between your project and the public medium-voltage grid. Whether it is required depends, among other things, on the specifications of your network operator, the distance from the grid connection point, and your project. If you are unsure, we will be happy to assist you.

Delivery time notice: For an additional transfer station, the estimated delivery time is approx. 28 weeks. The reason for this is the necessary coordination with the grid operator.

The output per station describes the size of the transformer or the maximum output that is to be transmitted via the transformer substation. For PV or battery storage projects, this value is often based on the system output. For industrial, commercial or consumption systems, the output depends on the building's or facility's required electricity demand. If you do not know the value, we will be happy to assist you with the design.

Undervoltage (kV)*

The undervoltage is the voltage on the low-voltage side of the transformer, i.e. on the side of your system. 400 V, 690 V or 800 V are frequently used. If you do not know the value, we will be happy to help you.

Overvoltage (kV)*

The high-voltage supply is the voltage of the medium-voltage network to which your transformer station is connected. In Germany, 10 kV, 20 kV or 30 kV are common. The relevant network operator determines the voltage available at your site. Not sure? No problem – we’ll be happy to help.

Frequently asked questions

Which enquiry form is the right one for my project?

That depends on the primary application. We have divided the forms specifically by use case (e.g. solar park, EV charging park, BESS storage or classical industrial application), as different technical parameters are requested in each case. Simply choose the form that comes closest to your main project – individual adjustments will be sorted out later on.

What technical data (e.g. from the grid operator) should I have ready?

To be able to process the request precisely, core data such as the required transformer capacity (kVA), the voltage level (e.g. 20 kV) and – if available – the specific connection conditions (TAB) of your local network operator will help us. If you do not yet know certain parameters from the notes, you can leave the corresponding fields blank for now or add a comment.

What happens after I've submitted the form?

Your details will go straight to our project planning team. We will check the technical parameters (such as specifications for mains decoupling protection or LV switchgear) for feasibility. We will then get back to you promptly – either with direct follow-up questions about missing details or already with an initial design concept for your substation.
