Our Power House
The medium-voltage 1x1
An overview of the most common options for a grid connection. There are basically two options when connecting to the public electricity grid: Electricity purchase and electricity feed-in. There are also mixed and special forms.
- Reference: Electricity is typically purchased by companies, residential areas or e-car charging parks.
- Feed-in: Das Gegenstück dazu ist die Erzeugung von Strom aus erneuerbaren oder konventionellen Quellen und dessen Einspeisung in das Stromnetz.
- Mixing plants: Combined systems are referred to as mixed systems, for example a manufacturing company with a PV system on the roof. However, grid-connected storage systems or charging stations with bidirectional charging can also be considered mixed systems.
- Island systems: Stand-alone systems are completely disconnected from the grid. These produce all the electricity they need themselves without feeding any surplus into the grid.

Modern compact stations
Compact transformer stations for easy installation
We transform 10 m³ of liquid concrete into our certified station in our factory. With basic dimensions of 2,620 x 3,870 mm, the station can be transported to the site as easily as possible by low-loader without the need for special permits or night-time transport. At the same time, a footprint of less than 10 m² means that it is exempt from planning permission in all German federal states.
The station is placed in a construction pit as a prefabricated concrete element without foundations and then rises almost two metres above the turf.
Innovative gas-insulated stations with FBX series
Our stations are certified with the gas-insulated FBX series from Schneider Electric. Hidden behind the doors on one short side of the station, there is space for 3 cable panels and a measuring cell with a 3-phase transformer measurement for current and voltage. This means that medium-voltage loop-ins can be realised as well as fuse protection using circuit breakers.
The heart of the ward beats in the centre chamber
With an output of up to 2,500 kVA, this connects the low-voltage side with the medium-voltage side. Three-phase oil-immersed transformers with single or double windings are used.
On request, the replacement by a Bio-ether mixture possible. In addition to the usual voltage levels such as 400 V, 800 V, 10 kV or 20 kV, special voltages such as 470 V or 20.8 kV are also possible on both the overvoltage and undervoltage sides.
Customised project solutions for an efficient interface between station and system
Between 400 and 800 volts processes the low-voltage plate according to project requirements. The protective cabinet is customised for each project, Meter cabinet, NH strips, large and small circuit-breakers, communication technology and the uninterruptible power supply is installed. The low-voltage plate is therefore the interface between the station and your system.

Frequently asked questions from our customers about the compact stations
What is a compact station and what is it used for?
Answer:
A compact substation is a prefabricated, compact electrical system that integrates transformers, switchgear and other components. It is used to convert medium voltage to low voltage and is ideal for use in various sectors such as industry, commerce and renewable energies.
What advantages does a compact station offer over conventional transformer stations?
Answer:
Compact stations offer numerous advantages, including a space-saving design, fast installation and commissioning, high flexibility and adaptability as well as improved safety and reliability thanks to integrated protection mechanisms.
Can the compact station be customised to meet special requirements?
Answer:
Yes, our compact stations can be customised to your specific requirements. We offer customised solutions that are tailored to the respective grid requirements and operating conditions.
How is the compact station transported and installed?
Answer:
The compact station is transported as a heavy load, which is coordinated by our experienced logistics team. The installation on site is carried out by our qualified specialists, who ensure that the station is commissioned properly and efficiently.

Passion for electricity
From electrical engineering to innovative solutions in the power grid
Electricity is our passion. Whether electricity production or electricity consumption - we keep the electricity flowing. Founded in 1995 by Mr Faber Senior, our roots lie in electrical engineering. This gave rise to our constant drive to explore the limits of what is technically feasible and to constantly develop ourselves further: From domestic installations to commercial Photovoltaic systems to our own production of Transformer compact stations resp. Compact stations. Today, we are proud not only to install electricity consumers and generators, but also to connect the systems to one of the greatest achievements of modern times: Our electricity grid.
