Milestone for the energy transition: Faber Energy Group receives ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 certifications
The realisation of modern energy infrastructure requires the utmost precision, reliable processes and uncompromising safety. Whether large-scale photovoltaic projects, turnkey solar parks, high-performance storage solutions or complex integration into the medium-voltage grid – the demands placed on technical service providers in the energy sector are continuously growing. The Faber Energy Group has firmly anchored this standard in its corporate philosophy and has now reached a significant milestone: The management systems within the corporate group have been successfully certified to the international standards ISO 9001:2015 (quality management) and ISO 45001:2018 (occupational health and safety) certified.
The official initial certification took place on 7 April 2026 by the renowned, accredited SystemCERT Zertifizierungsgesellschaft m.b.H. and certifies to Faber Energy Group GmbH, with the certified location of Faber E-Tec GmbH, in accordance with the scope of the certificate, the seamless compliance with the strictest criteria. The issued certificates are valid until 06.04.2029 and require annual surveillance audits as well as a re-certification audit every three years in order to guarantee the continuous development of the standards.
What does ISO 9001:2015 mean?
Certification in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 forms the solid foundation for our integrated quality management system. It officially certifies that all internal and external business processes of the Faber Energy Group are structured, transparently documented and geared towards maximum customer focus. For a company that accompanies complex energy projects from the initial idea to turnkey handover and subsequent operation, this standardisation is indispensable.
Specifically, quality management safeguards the following core areas:
-
Structured processes: From the initial grid connection planning through detailed engineering to the final grid connection, every single component fits together perfectly.
-
Continuous Improvement Process (CIP): We continuously analyse our project workflows in order to eliminate potential sources of error in advance and directly exploit efficiency potentials.
-
Reproducible project quality: Our clients can rely on every project being realised according to the exact same, internationally audited quality standards.
What does ISO 45001:2018 mean?
The construction and operation of energy installations – particularly in the field of medium- and high-voltage systems and during the assembly of heavy, large-scale components – naturally entails operational risks. Certification to ISO 45001:2018 represents a proactive and systematic occupational health and safety management system.
This is not about mere compliance with statutory minimum regulations, but about a safety culture deeply anchored in everyday life:
-
Systematic occupational health and safety and prevention: Through risk assessments and preventive measures, we consistently minimise risks on our construction sites, in manufacturing and during service operations.
-
Safe working conditions: Our specialists in assembly, installation and commissioning are provided with the best possible equipment and ongoing training to identify and avert hazards at an early stage.
-
Responsibility towards employees: The health and physical integrity of our team is our top priority at every stage of the project – because first-class quality can only be achieved in a completely safe working environment.
Why this matters to our customers
For our project partners, investors, municipalities and grid operators, these certifications mean one thing above all: maximum investment and legal certainty. Anyone investing in renewable energy and modern infrastructure is tying up capital for the long term. SystemCERT's certificates prove in black and white that the Faber Energy Group is a reliable partner that has its risks under control.
The certified scope covers the entire value chain of our services:
Planning, engineering, project development and project design
Permitting, procurement, construction and quality management as well as professional site management
Assembly, installation and commissioning of PV, storage and energy systems as well as LV/MV/HV installations
EPC, operation, technical operations management, monitoring, service, maintenance, repair and energy trading
Through this comprehensive scope, we ensure that even critical interfaces – for example, during the transition from construction to technical operations management and real-time monitoring – interlock seamlessly and with assured quality.
Quality and safety as the basis of the energy transition
The energy transition cannot be managed with isolated individual components. What is needed are holistic, intelligently integrated concepts. This is precisely the strength of the Faber Energy Group as a holding company that pools specialised competencies. With these certifications, the Faber Energy Group is strengthening its management systems for quality, occupational health and safety throughout the entire corporate group.
The close cooperation between the subsidiaries demonstrates how important these standards are in practice:
The Faber Solar Technology GmbH designs and builds turnkey photovoltaic systems (roof-mounted and ground-mounted systems as well as solar parks) including detailed layout, wiring and protection concepts as well as modern storage solutions.
The Faber E-Tec GmbH brings the necessary precision as an energy infrastructure, transformer substation and medium-voltage engineering specialist to connect these generation plants securely to the power grid. Tailored, standards-compliant [units/systems] are created in-house manufacturing Compact transformer stations, which form the crucial link between generation and consumption.
By embedding the ISO standards across the group, we guarantee that of the turn-key EPC services all processes meet the highest standards, right through to long-term maintenance and repair for complex battery storage and PV systems.
A strong foundation for the future of energy
The successful completion of the certification audit by SystemCERT is not an endpoint for us, but rather the kick-off for the next stage of development. With the clear cycle of annual surveillance audits, we are committing ourselves to sustained excellence and uncompromising process quality. The Faber Energy Group thus demonstrates that a sustainable energy supply, technical innovation and a living responsibility for people and the environment are inextricably linked.
