The Faber E-Tec BESS Container 3.340 kWh is a high-performance battery storage system for commercial and industrial applications. With a storage capacity of 3.34 MWh and a high power density, the system is ideal for solar parks, industrial plants, microgrids and grid-connected energy storage projects. The system is based on modern LFP cell technology, is liquid-cooled and designed for permanent outdoor operation. Thanks to its modular architecture, the storage system can be flexibly integrated into existing energy infrastructures and expanded as required.

The Faber E-Tec 3,340 kWh container is a highly integrated BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) with a system energy of 3,340 kWh. The nominal AC power is 1,600 kW, realised by eight highly efficient string inverters with 200 kW each. This design offers maximum redundancy and reliability for large-scale energy projects.
The storage system has been specially developed for coupling with large photovoltaic systems (PV parks). It enables the feed-in time to be shifted (arbitrage) in order to benefit from high spot market prices, prevents generation curtailment and stabilises the grid using state-of-the-art smart grid functions.
Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells are used in all Faber E-Tec systems. Compared to other lithium-ion technologies, LFP offers significantly higher thermal stability, superior cycle stability and a long service life, which minimises operating costs (OPEX) over the decades.
Faber E-Tec GmbH relies on an uncompromising, multi-stage safety concept: a fire gas detection system recognises hazards at an early stage. Extinguishing takes place at compartment level using heptafluoropropane or perfluorohexanone, supplemented by aerosol extinguishing units, an emergency water extinguishing device and an explosion-proof exhaust gas system.
Yes, the Faber E-Tec 3,340 kWh container is fully certified for the German market. It fulfils the requirements of VDE-AR-N 4110:2023 (medium voltage) and VDE-AR-N 4120 (high voltage) as well as FGW TR8, including dynamic grid support (ride-through) and precise active/reactive power control.
The system utilises intelligent liquid cooling. In contrast to air cooling, this enables extremely homogeneous temperature distribution within the battery modules. This ensures full performance even at extreme ambient temperatures of -30 °C to +55 °C and significantly extends the service life of the cells.
The system follows a standard modular design („AC/DC Integrated System“). The 20-foot container is delivered turnkey and ready for connection. This significantly reduces the installation time on site and the complexity of commissioning by the EPC partner.
