With BESS from Faber E-Tec we are expanding our energy expertise with modern battery storage systems for demanding applications
Let your energy work while you sleep
BESS systems store surplus energy from solar parks or charge themselves automatically from the power grid (time shifting). The stored energy is later made available exactly when it is needed - reliably, efficiently and economically.
Investment in energy savings and independence
EPC BESS complete solutions
Are you also fed up with negative electricity prices or grid curtailments slowing down your solar park's return? It's time to regain control of your yield. We implement your BESS project completely from a single source – from transformer technology and medium voltage to final commissioning.
Save as a complete package
BESS including transformer substations, MV/LV, protection concept and auxiliary systems – with clearly defined interfaces for your EPC implementation.
Based on your project or inventory data, we deliver a reliable economic forecast – usually within 7 days of receiving the data.
Connection and protection concept, medium-voltage integration, low-voltage distribution and commissioning – to keep grid connection predictable.

The Three Core services
Our BESS projects combine three core services, covering engineering, economics, and operations seamlessly from a single source. Here are the three core points:
Faber E-Tec BESS product range
With our scalable Battery storage & BESS solutions from 418 kWh to 5 MWh, we enable companies to store energy efficiently, reduce peak loads and utilise solar power intelligently. Our Faber E-Tec BESS systems stand for quality, grid conformity ....
In addition to our battery storage solutions, we also develop and manufacture customised Compact transformer stations, which are perfectly matched to BESS systems. We therefore offer complete energy infrastructures from a single source, from the transformer station to the storage container.

What is a BESS system and what is it used for?
BESS stands for Battery Energy Storage System. It is an intelligent storage system that stores electrical energy (e.g. from the grid or a PV system) and releases it again when required. In industry, it is primarily used for peak load management (peak shaving) in order to reduce expensive peak loads. Other areas of application include optimising self-consumption of solar power, emergency power supply and stabilising the power grid.
What advantages does a BESS system from Faber E-Tec offer?
Faber E-Tec acts as an EPC partner (Engineering, Procurement, Construction). This means that you do not receive individual parts, but a complete turnkey solution. Our advantages:
Modularity: Scalable capacities from 418 kWh to over 5 MWh.
Everything from a single source: Seamless integration with our own transformer stations.
Maximum safety: use of LFP technology and integrated aerosol extinguishing systems.
Intelligence: Smart EMS (energy management) for automated optimisation.
What are BESS projects?
BESS projects are understood to mean the holistic planning, project planning and installation of industrial battery storage systems (Battery Energy Storage Systems). In contrast to small home storage systems, these are complex infrastructure measures that intervene deeply in the energy network of a company or energy park.
A BESS project is never an „off-the-shelf“ solution, but always a customised response to the customer's specific load profile and grid requirements.
What applications are BESS systems suitable for?
Our battery storage systems are versatile - e.g. for
- Commercial self-consumption optimisation
- Charging parks and e-mobility
- Load peak capping (peak shaving)
- Emergency power and mains backup operation
- Integration into PV systems or wind farms
Thanks to the modular design, outputs from 200 kW to 2.5 MW are possible.
What safety and certification standards do the systems fulfil?
Safety is non-negotiable in the industrial environment. Our systems fulfil all relevant national and international standards, in particular VDE-AR-N 4110 (medium-voltage directive) and VDE 4120 for the grid connection. The battery modules are certified to IEC 62619 and UN38.3 tested. In addition, all containers are equipped with advanced fire detection and extinguishing systems.
How can I request a suitable BESS system for my project?
The first step is to analyse your load profile (load profile data). Simply send us your enquiry using our enquiry/contact form or give us a call. Our engineers will evaluate your electricity data, identify the savings potential through peak shaving and dimension the optimum storage size for rapid amortisation.
What is LFP cell technology?
We rely on lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4). Compared to conventional lithium-ion batteries (NMC), LFP offers decisive advantages for the industry:
Maximum safety: LFP cells are extremely thermally stable and do not burn (no „thermal runaway“).
Longevity: They offer a very high cycle stability (charge/discharge cycles).
Sustainability: They do not contain problematic cobalt and nickel.
